We are very excited to announce that Darcy Levy has joined Rubicon Law! Darcy will help us expand our commercial transactions practice and otherwise support our clients as they grow.
Darcy joins us after eight months of traveling around the word with her husband and daughter. She’s back in Denver after long stints in Kauai, New Zealand, Japan, and Sweden and shorter visits to Australia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Slovenia, Italy, France, and Spain.
Darcy is an experienced attorney who understands business. Prior to Rubicon, Darcy worked as a transactional lawyer at law firms in Boston and Denver where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, financing, and corporate governance. Most recently, as Senior Corporate Counsel for Leprino Foods Company, the world’s largest manufacturer of mozzarella cheese, Darcy was involved in all aspects of a large manufacturing business with a presence throughout the United States and abroad. Her in-house practice involved a little bit of everything – commercial contracts, research and development work, intellectual property, corporate governance, etc.
While at Leprino Foods, Darcy also managed the launch of a consumer business, where she led entity selection, reviewed marketing and advertising materials, oversaw intellectual property matters, negotiated purchase, supply, and manufacturing agreements, and handled food law matters.
Darcy received her JD from Boston College Law School, and her BA, with distinction, from Yale University, where she studied History and Political Science.
In addition to her legal practice, Darcy has served as a Board Member and a volunteer for Reading Partners, a national non-profit dedicated to youth literacy.
